Gunplay said that he wasn't sure what happened to his chain during the melee, but now, some new footage courtesy of KYSDC.com shows where it went.
In the clip, Fif is shown bowling in Washington, D.C. After he throws the ball down the lane, he turns around to reveal that he's wearing the diamond-encrusted MMG pendant.

Machine Gun Kelly Says 50 Cent Taunted Diddy Outside Of His Trailer Before Gunplay Fight

Machine Gun Kelly shares his account of what happened during the brawl between Gunplay and members of 50 Cent's entourage.
Details in regards to the fight that included Miami rapper Gunplay and alleged members of 50 Cent’s entourage have continued to emerge following the melee which took place in a parking lot during the taping of the BET Hip Hop Awards on September 29.
While appearing on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, Bad Boy artist Machine Gun Kelly offered up another account of what went down during the taping of the awards show. According to the rapper, just minutes prior to the fight 50 Cent made a few sarcastic comments about Diddy outside of the Bad Boy Records founder’s trailer.
“I was about to go say ‘what’s up’ and introduce myself to Gunplay right when that was about to happen,” MGK explained. “Right before that happened Fifty came up to Puff – I think it was the other way around…I don’t like to stay in one place I like to roam and just look at people so I was just roaming through the trailers and I just remember Fifty coming up outside of Puff’s trailer and being like, but Puff was on the inside of his trailer so he said to somebody and was like, ‘What kind of money Puff say he was getting again? I can count that shit on one hand man’…I thought it was all funny and sarcastic and then two seconds later the whole Gunplay thing popped off.”
Following Machine Gun Kelly’s commentary on the scuffle, the topic of fight versus flight came up and the Cleveland rapper spoke on an incident in which he thought he was on the verge of an incident similar to Gunplay’s.
“In Philly, we pulled up to the radio station and there was a black SUV outside of it and it was two black dudes in the SUV,” said the rapper in a video posted on HipHop-n-More.com. “And right when I hopped out the thing I heard, ‘Man, fuck Cleveland. Fuck them Browns. Fuck Machine Gun Kelly.’ And the first thing I’m thinking and I put myself in the position, I put myself in the Gunplay position. I was like the first thing I thought was someone’s trying to World Star me right now so I was like, ‘Fuck you!’”
Machine Gun Kelly appeared on The Breakfast Club this morning (October 11) to promote his debut album, Lace Up, which was released on October 9.

Pictures: Dammy Krane and Pasuma Wonder Record New Single!

These pictures were taken earlier today when Legendary Fuji artiste, Pasuma Wonder, and New-School “Fuji/Pop” sensation Dammy Krane hit the studio to record a new single.
From my understanding, Dammy Krane tweeted a couple of days back that he would love to record with a top Fuji act and asked his fans/followers for their opinion. As expected, most people mentioned Pasuma, so this news comes as a very welcome development. I have no idea what the song sounds like yet, but it will be mixed, mastered and hopefully, sent in soon.

Young Jeezy Addresses Fight With Rick Ross, Calls Gucci Mane "Retarded"

Young Jeezy says he wasn't touched during the fight that broke out at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards.
Young Jeezy and Rick Ross' camps threw it down at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards, engaging in a fight backstage. But during an interview with Power 106's Big Boy's Neighborhood, he said that he was never touched during the melee but didn't go in-depth as to his feelings on Rozay.
"I mean first of all, it was a great awards show. I mean basically, it was just a good show. I went there, got out with Wiz, it was cool, we did our thing," he said. "So in the hallway, we're walking out whatever whatever. So me and him never really seen each other face to face before, and I just felt like he spoke, I spoke, and that was basically it. But at the end of the day, it's been going on for a while so I just felt like if it was to be handled, it should have been handled there. We either gon' get past it or keep moving. So in my words, I just feel like a lot of these cats are actor rappers. And I'm Jeezy - they could never be me. That's just pretty much that.
"At the end of the day, I refuse to be part of this WWF propaganda and B.S. to sell records," he continued. "If that's who you want to be, you want to be a tough guy, you be that way. I'm a boss, I'm a G. That's just how it is."
He also addressed his ongoing feud with Gucci Mane, who recently said he has "no respect" for Jeezy and that they'll "never" reconcile. The Snowman didn't have kind words for Gooch, calling him "retarded" and stating that he turned down several requests to collaborate on a song.
"I mean, I feel like everybody know that boy retarded, nobody take him seriously. He got an ice cream cone on his face. That being said, I'm not going back. I'm going forward. And then it's crazy because they'll call you and want you on a song. And then when you don't get on a song, that's what happens. Of course [he called me]. He called me a few times. I just said it wasn't a good idea. We past that. I don't want to go backwards. He reached out a few times and I didn't do the record, so I guess he feel a way. He didn't take his medicine that day.

Rick Ross & Young Jeezy Fight Backstage At BET Hip Hop Awards, Shots Fired,, Gunplay Arrested?

Wale Says The Rick Ross & Young Jeezy Fight Was "Unfortunate," Denies Involvement In Brawl

Wale says he wasn't near the Young Jeezy/Rick Ross fight but adds that it was "unfortunate, to say the least." He also says he had no indication of a feud between MMG and CTE camps.
The feud between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy recently developed into an altercation at the BET Hip Hop Awards. There, both camps were involved in an incident that allegedly included gunshots and arrests. While Wale didn't seem to be involved, he was recently asked to speak about the confrontation by Bootleg Kev due to his alliance with Ross' Maybach Music Group.
Wale explained that he attended the red carpet for the award show but that he had to leave to perform elsewhere so he was not present for the brawl.
"I heard about it," he explained. "I didn't know what was true. Everything was happening so fast, I didn't know what was going on... I wasn't nowhere near the whole situation...I really can't call and say what happened or what should have happened. It's unfortunate, to say the least."
He also shared that he had no real indication that a feud existed between the camps.
"That ain't something that we sit around and talk about, our relationships with other artists," he said. "We never really talk about nobody but ourselves amongst ourselves. So nobody really knew how deep anything was or how deep nothing is. So, I'm assuming this is something that was just blown out of proportion, for the most part."

Fat Joe Speaks On Ending Beef With 50 Cent

Fat Joe and 50 Cent squashed their beef at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards.
50 Cent and Fat Joe infamously beefed for years, but they publicly buried the hatchet during a tribute to Chris Lighty at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards. Speaking with Hot 107.9’s Q Deezy, the Terror Squad leader explained that Lighty had tried to mend fences between the rappers several times, but it took his passing to finally bring them together.
“The same guy who discovered [50] discovered me, Chris Lighty, and Chris Lighty, I owe him everything because I used to hustle big time in the Bronx, and out of 50 of us, I’m the only one who got away because I got legit,” he said. “Everybody else got like 75 years in jail, God bless ‘em. So he literally saved my life. I never could believe I could be a rapper; he talked me into rapping. So he wanted us to make peace forever, but we were just being stubborn and ignoring him.”
Joey Crack said that he knew 50 would be part of the tribute, and when he arrived, Fif whispered a few “gentleman-like” things in his ear and they shook hands, thus ending the beef.
“I came to do the tribute. I knew 50 Cent would be there, but I came with like, we gon’ do this for Chris. And while we was there, 50 whispered some things in my ear that was gentleman-like. I’m a gentleman. I don’t dislike people. I’m one of the most loveable dudes in Hip Hop, believe it or not. So you know, he just said the right things and a handshake [was] involved and that was that. It’s just two grown men that just said yo, this is for Chris Lighty, this is for Hip Hop. Let’s move on with our lives.”

Gunplay Gets Into Fight With G-Unit Affiliates During BET Hip-Hop Awards

Gunplay gets into it with G-Unit backstage at the BET Hip-Hop awards.
The BET Hip-Hop Awards was certainly eventful, as news has emerged that even more conflict took place during the ceremonies.
As previously reported, Young Jeezy and Rick Ross' camps got into an altercation which was followed by gun shots. However, that wasn't the only extracurricular activity going on. Maybach Music Group's Gunplay had a fight with G-Unit affiliates backstage.
Apparently the event occurred during the Chris Lighty tribute, which featured 50 Cent and Fat Joe sharing the stage.
Footage uploaded to WorldStarHipHop of the event is below. Apparently, the man pepper sprayed was Gunplay:

@kanyewest Sued Over Illegal Sample On "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy"

Kanye West has been accused of failing to properly clear samples used on "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy."
It looks like Raekwon isn't the only emcee being served for the use of uncleared samples. Now, in a recent report from HipHopWired, G.O.O.D. Music impresario Kanye West has been hit with a suit over samples on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Label TufAmerica is suing Yeezy over the use of a sample of Eddie Bo's “Hook & Sling” on two songs off his 2010 LP, "Who Will Survive In America” and “Lost In The World.” According to the suit, Roc-a-Fella Records and Universal Music Group did actually pay a whopping $62,500 to clear the sample, but failed to "enter into written license agreements that accounted for their multiple other uses” of the 1969 song.
TufAmerica, who acquired the rights to the song in 1996, is suing the Roc and UMG for copyright infringement for an unspecified amount.
Surprisingly, this isn't the only sample-related lawsuit that the Chicago emcee/producer is currently facing. Kanye was hit with a $500,000 lawsuit over the illegal use of The Persuaders' "Trying Girls Out" back in March.

Game Insults 50 Cent's "Street King" Energy Drink

Game clowns on his longtime adversary 50 Cent in a recent Instagram picture.
Despite Game attempting to reconcile with former G-Unit partner 50 Cent last year, it looks like the Compton rapper is back to firing potshots at his long-time foe. Now, in a recent post on Game's Instagram, the Interscope emcee can be seen poking fun at Fif's Street King energy drink.
SOHH reports that Game recently took a mocking picture behind the wheel of a promotional vehicle for 50 Cent's energy drink company. In the tag line of the picture, Game joked that he was planning to steal the vehicle and hand out the shots to homeless people.
"The driver seen me coming & [ran] !!! Now I'm headed to skidrow to give this nasty shit to the homeless #JesusPiece," he wrote.

JK Rowling's New Novel Hits The Shelves

JK Rowling's first novel for adults has gone on sale, and is already breaking records.
Pre-sales of The Casual Vacancy were the highest of any book this year, but little was known about its content which has been shrouded in secrecy up to its release.
Early reviews have been mixed. One critic said Rowling had retained her magic, another that the novel is "dull".
Many Rowling fans were in bookshops early to be the first to get their hands on a copy.
Speed reader Anne Jones skimmed the novel for Sky News in a bookshop in London.
She was pleasantly surprised with the plot and the author's range, and said she thought the "second half of the book was better than the first".
The novel is about a "snobby middle class" community riven by provincial politics and the fallout when a parish councillor dies in a West Country village.
It has been reported that the village she describes is based on Tutshill where Rowling was brought up as a child.
However, residents told Sky News they are not particularly happy about the description and it is not their experience of the area. Carla Newton said people are keen to find out more.
"I'll definitely be reading it in case I can recognise someone," she said.
Rowling has amassed a fortune estimated to be around £620m from her seven Harry Potter books and all the spin-off rights.
The author has revealed that her next novel is very likely to be another children's book.

Dame Dash Sues His Lawyer Over Failed Record Deal With Curren$y

Despite Curren$y and Damon Dash making amends, it looks like their history at DD172 is still making waves in the legal world. According to a recent report fromAllHipHop, Dame Dash is suing his lawyer over a botched record deal that resulted in Spitta and other artists leaving his label.

Dash is suing lawyer Janis Shen for failing to complete the proper paperwork for an orally-stated record contract with Curren$y. According to the suit, the failed contract also lost Dash a distribution deal between BluRoc and Island/Def Jam, as well as rapper Stalley, who later singed with Maybach Music Group.
Dash is seeking $5 million as well as lawyer fees in the suit. DX will keep you updated.

An Objective View on Rick Ross “Hold Me Back” (Nigeria) Video By Tosin Adeda

It’s no more news that Rick Ross was in Nigeria few weeks ago for a show, and after the show he decided to shoot a video for his “Hold Me Back” track off his “God Forgives I Don’t” album.
That video dropped a few days ago, and Nigerians have aired their views via different social media platforms. Some absolutely love the video, while others see it as a slap on the face of Nigerians for being portrayed in such light to the rest of the world.
For those who feel the song has no message, i will take time out to type the lyrics of the of the song.

[Intro]
I see how these niggas playin’
But I could adapt
These niggas won’t hold me back [x8]
These hoes won’t hold me back
These hoes won’t hold me back
These niggas won’t hold me back
These niggas won’t hold me back

[Verse 1]
I look in my fridge, my sh*t lookin’ scarce
I got a few kids, we need some sh*t on the shelf
I get a knock at the door, they say my rent overdue
And while my niggas sell drugs and don’t know what else to do
The only thing on my mind, I’m tryin’ to keep on the lights
I call up my slime, I need a kilo tonight
Everything whipped well, I’m eatin’ steak, no more soup
Then I parked the Capri, I went and bought me a Coupe
Everything takes time, but this sh*t came fast
Niggas standin’ in line, they wanna hold me back
I multiplied my hustle, stimulated my mind
Motivated my niggas and we’ll never divide, no
[Hook]
These niggas won’t hold me back [x4]
These hoes won’t hold me back
These hoes wanna hold me back [x3]
Noooo
[Verse 2]
First I got me a Taurus, then I copped me a Lexus
I took over Florida, my connect out of Texas
Then I start sippin’ purple, got my sh*t screwed
When you feedin’ your circle, watch your shipments improve
Fabricate ’bout your fortune, all my fabric’s imported
Fornicate in my fortress, 40k still my mortgage
24k my toilet, all my taxes reported
All my exes deported, shout-out Texas, New Orleans
All these niggas influenced by a hustler’s endurance
I just me the purest, but I need some insurance
Niggas watch who you f*ckin’ just to hate on your b*tches
Niggas breakin’ the rules, niggas facin’ suspicion
[Hook]
[Verse 3]
Momma workin’ three jobs ’til I told her to quit
How we rose from the sewer, funny now I’m the sh*t
Niggas ain’t gettin’ money, but they got an opinion
Had this tech makin’ racket, serve you like you were tennis
Killers ride for that paycheck, AK okay, check
B*tch nigga let’s play chess, yo b*tch next, no latex
These niggas won’t hold me back, told the feds they sold me set
Whip ‘em right and then come right back
Whip-whip-whip ‘em right and then come right back
[Hook x2]
[Verse 4]
P*ssy Bottom niggas, p*ssy Bottom niggas
They all p*ssy Bottom niggas, p*ssy Bottom niggas
Lookin’ down on these niggas, p*ssy Bottom niggas
Pushin’ my new Ferrari on these p*ssy Bottom niggas
P*ssy hoe, p*ssy hoe
She a p*ssy hoe until she give me p*ssy hoe
P*ssy hoe, p*ssy hoe
P*ssy hoe, she a p*ssy hoe
The song is just about the rise from nothing to something, the rise from struggling to flossing, how he was broke and stuff and hustled his way to the top, how people who didn’t do nothing for him when he was broke now feel they can hold him back, how he’s determined to achieve more even with the hate etc.
For those who feel the Nigerian version of the video is just a way to ridicule them, take time out to watch the Original version of the video and then also the Nigerian version again.

Kendrick Lamar Cites DMX As An Influence & Discusses Learning From Dr. Dre's Mistakes

Kendrick Lamar may be one of Hip Hop's most forward-thinking emcees, but even he is willing to admit to some influences.
"[DMX] really [got me started] on music," explained K. Dot in an interview with Philadelphia's Power 99. "That first album [It's Dark and Hell Is Hot] is classic, [so he had an influence on me]."

Kendrick Lamar also discussed his upcoming album, Good Kid, m.A.A.d City, and its personal nature.
"It's a real intimate album, real personal album," said Kendrick of the project. "A lot of questions that people have been asking me in interviews are answered in this album. It's really me. It's my life. It's the lives I grew up with, and stories."
Much has been made of Kendrick's relationship with Dr. Dre, who recently topped Forbes' list of highest earners in Hip Hop. With that context in mind, Kendrick explained how Dr. Dre's mistakes - not his successes - have taught him the most.
"Basically, he's schooling me on the don'ts. What not to do," said Lamar. "...He made a lot of mistakes, and he's making sure I don't make the same mistakes

CyHi The Prynce Speaks On "Cruel Summer," Criticism

CyHi the Prynce weighs in on G.O.O.D. Music's debut and his place within the crew.
It's only been a few days since G.O.O.D. Music dropped its anticipated debut LP Cruel Summer, but the LP is already poised to be one of the year's biggest releases. Now, in a recent interview with XXL, G.O.O.D.'s Atlanta representative CyHi the Pryce spoke on the album's release.
CyHi said that given the magnitude of the recording process that led up to Cruel Summer, the album almost feels like his own debut. Even though he was one of many members heavily involved in the effort, he said that the project is still a personal labor of love for him.
"It [feels] like my debut album," he said. "It’s crazy ’cause I was there during most of the album. Like the creative process and you know, we started from scratch until now. So it’s like to see your girlfriend who’s pregnant have your daughter or son. You go through nine months just to see this day you know what I’m saying. People don’t understand that the leak, for us, gives it more anticipation. Our following is really like a cult following so, with ’Ye he does things with the booklets, the artwork on the album and different things that fans want to be able to have."

CyHi also spoke the criticism he faces from some listeners in not getting the same kind of attention that his labelmates Pusha T and Big Sean receive. He said that he understands that the road to success isn't instantaneous, citing Big Sean's five years on the label prior to his debut smash Finally Famous: The Album.
"People don’t know that Sean was signed for five years before he popped. He was there for five years, I’ve been signed for two years. People don’t really get it because I can really rap. So, they expect me to be this, this, this and the third, but at the end of the day it’s not just ‘Ye, it’s Def Jam too, and Def Jam got artists—like, okay, we got 2 Chainz on the roster, we got Pusha T, we got Big Sean—these are guys that have already put out gold, platinum selling albums. Like I said, Kobe didn’t start his first year—Eddie Jones started [laughs] and when they couldn’t win it with Eddie Jones then, you know, Kobe came off the bench and just took over.  This is my second year—this is my sophomore season. Atlanta rapper T.I.’s contract with his label home Atlantic Records may be coming to a close, but the Grand Hustle founder revealed in an interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club that he’s happy where he’s at and if he can finish his music career at Atlantic Records, he’ll do just that.
“Aye man I’mma say this, I’m happy where I’m at if they happy to have me. I’m happy where I am…I’d like to finish my career there if that’s possible, but that’s not up to me, it’s up to them,” said T.I.
While T.I. is preparing for the release of his eighth studio album he’s also pushing another project, his second novel titled “Trouble & Triumph: A Novel Of Power & Beauty.” During his interview with The Breakfast Club the rapper spoke on the process of creating the book.
“Well, I’mma tell ya, I don’t sit down and write. We have conversations. We have conversations and I discuss my ideas and theories,” T.I. explained. “He has a tape recorder and then from my ideas he creates what is called a manuscript. I overlook the manuscript make corrections, and add to it. And that process goes on back and forth for as long as it takes to come up with that book right there…I think the success of the book will determine whether or not it deserves to be made into a movie."

Missy Elliott Comments On Nicki Minaj vs. Lil' Kim, Calls For More Respect Among Female Artists

Virginia rapper Missy Elliott has been making the rounds lately in the media and most recently appeared on an episode of MTV’s Rap Fix Live yesterday (September 19). Missy addressed a number of topics during her interview with Sway including Aaliyah, creating an all-female music tour, and her stance on the past beef between rappers Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim.
While speaking on Nicki Minaj and Lil' Kim, Missy revealed that what it all boils down to is respect. The rapper went on to state that two artists can not like one another, but should still remain respectful.
“I mean that situation I felt divided us. I’ve never met Nicki, like I said she’s out there hustling, you can’t be mad at that. Lil' Kim is my sister. I’ve known her for years and I never turn my back on her, but there’s enough room for everybody,” Missy explained. “I wanna see everybody, everybody, get it. You know what I’m saying? I just love to see women just have their own. And you watch the guys do it all the time…The simplest word that I can say is respect. You don’t have to like somebody, respect. That’s it.”
Prior to speaking on respect among artists, Missy answered a viewer question in regards to there not being any shows featuring solely female rappers and shared that she’s been wanting to do something similar for quite some time now.
“I have been wanting to do that for some years and so it’s funny that she said that,” the rapper revealed. “Listen, if we can get it done I’ll open up. I don’t care. Like I’ll go on at 6:30. I would love to see that. I would think it would be epic, totally. I don’t care who it is, let’s just rock and roll. It’s enough for everybody.”
During her interview on Rap Fix Live, Missy also offered up the names of the artists she’d love to work with and among them were both Andree 3000 and Lauryn Hill.

Roscoe Dash Claims He Wrote Songs For Kanye West & Wale, Didn't Get Credit

Roscoe Dash says he wrote Kanye West's "To the World" and Wale's "Lotus Flower Bomb" and wasn't included in the credits.
Roscoe Dash has publicly made allegations that he wrote songs for Kanye West and Wale and didn't receive credit.
The Atlanta, Georgia rapper took to Twitter to state that he penned Kanye West's "To the World," the opening track on G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer, as well as Wale's "Lotus Flower Bomb" featuring Miguel. He said that he wrote the songs as favors for the artists but that you "can't do favors for niggas bcuz no matter how humble and generous u r to ppl niggas will take everything u have... Even niggas u look up to."
Dash explained that he's only going public with his allegations because "there are so many ppl who wanna be apart of the industry but dnt Kno half of the shit that goes on."

Raekwon Recalls Recording Verse For "Cruel Summer"

Raekwon recently delivered a standout verse on G.O.O.D. Music's "The Morning," a cut included on the crew's latest album release Cruel Summer.

"He hit me up told me what he was doing said he needed me on it. I’m a big, big fan," explained Rae. "He’s making a lot of progression with his music and he recognized a real MC. Because this is all know, all I know. I’m just programmed to touch shit that I feel has substance and is strong and makes me want to write and get in the car and bump that shit."
The Wu-Tang Clan member said that his lyrics were inspired by the West Indian influence on the track. He wasn't in the studio with the rest of the G.O.O.D. Music family when he laid his verse, but that he "felt the song" to a point where it seamlessly came together. He also touched on Ghostface's stellar verse on "New God Flow" and addressed how there was a thread between their rhymes
"Ghost is a welder, like I’m a welder. I ain’t surprised at nothing that Ghost do. He gon pull that blow torch out. We gotta keep up with the young boys."
